First and foremost, your baby is our top priority. I believe in helping your family with an approach that suits you and your child best. While there are common sleep issues for babies and children, there is no single solution that suits everyone. With input from you on your child, your family dynamics and your parenting style, I will listen and devise a plan that you are comfortable with.
I believe that babies have a natural propensity to sleep, if we give them the support and opportunity to develop this skill. Too often we try and ‘help’ them to sleep by using props or crutches (walking or rocking them to sleep, feeding to sleep or using a soother), which removes the chance for them to learn this skill themselves.

When you are tired and your baby is tired from lack of consistent sleep, it is so much harder to implement, and stick to, a plan. If you are running on empty I will help you formulate the best step forward in finding the right sleep routine. I have experience, neutrality and empathy. You can turn to me for support, as well as to ask questions and get honest answers.

No.. There are numerous ways to sleep coach a baby or child.
“Cry it Out” is often referred to as the Ferber Method or the Weissbluth/Extinction method. Both methods involve leaving your child’s room for at least a few minutes. There are other methods, as well, that allow for a gentler transition or for you to stay in the room with your child.
Tears are a natural part of the process when we begin the sleep coaching process, and your little one will most likely protest. Since they cannot speak up, they often cry out. The age, personality, and general temperament of your child can affect the amount of crying – even if you are right by their side. This important topic will be covered in more detail in your personalised programme.
